Emotional Eating

I have been doing really well the past week. I have been spreading my protein out to three times a day. This seems to really help me.

Today though, I was on my way to work (I had been called in) when they called to tell me to come later. I had to turn around and go back home. I am upset because I rushed to get ready (makeup, uniform), to make the oatmeal cookies I was in the middle of, and then of course eat! Also, to decide what to eat while at work. When I got back home, I ate an egg. :[ I don’t feel bad that I ate it, as it was planned, but it was planned for LATER. I ate it quickly and suddenly because I was UPSET. I don’t want to do things like that. :\

But hey, at least I recognize it and at least I stopped at one egg. Also, I am still subtracting it from my protein portions for the day, so not much harm done in terms of my eating. Just mentally… :[
